THE FRIDAY FUNNIES

The Friday Funnies is a weakly (pun intended) compilation of jokes, amazing facts, opinionated opinions, etc. sent to those interested in reading such things and who ask to receieve it. The mailing list is hosted by Topica.com and is on a request basis only. In other words, you have to either accept an invitation to join by the barkeep or send a request to join the list using the form below.

So what is this really all about? The Friday Funnies is a more or less weekly e-mail consisting of regular and gratuitous pontification by the Barkeep plus four or five jokes. The barkeep regularly sifts the contents of the joke warehouse to winnow out any really gross and offenceive humour. (For the Barkeep to find anything gross or offenceive is a rather tall stretch to begin with!) The jokes therein are not deliberately intended to impugn anyone's religion, ethnicity, political leanings, fraternal affiliations, choice of automobiles / attire / PCs / Software / spouse or toilet habits. However, sooner or later, we all wind up having a turn in the barrel. Inasmuch as it doesn't take much to honk people off these days, the Barkeep will offer a free drink to anyone who is genuinely honked by the humour therein. Jokes that are particularly salacious/scatological/salty will appear at the end of the queue with an appropriate warning in advance.
