The Stone Mountain Highland Games will be held Oct 20-22 in Atlanta. For info check their website at: www.SMHG.ORG. Our Clan has not made any special hotel arrangements for the games this year. Several events will be held at the Atlanta Marriott North Central located off exit I-85 at Clairmont Road. Telephone 404-325-0000. They have a reduced rate of $73 a night plus tax for the games. This special rate is only if you reserve before September 25th. However, you might want to make your reservations early because they only have a certain amount they are holding for the games.
The Annual Business Meeting will be held on Saturday evening, October 21. We will have a dinner followed by the meeting. The business meeting and dinner will be held at the 57th Squadron Group Restaurant, located at 3829 Clairmont Road, 2.5 miles from the Marriott Motel. We need at least 25 people to attend so that we can have a private room and get a special rate. The dinner should cost $25.00 including tax.
